RE: Issues with 0.61
Hi, i am working with MAC OSX 10.8.2 and QNAP at FW 3.7.3 also .
Playing Music with LINN Akurate DSM .

The Minim Server looks quite well and plays whatever is asked, but the MinimWatch does not open any Window at all .
I switched FireWall on and off, also Little Snitch . No Difference .

It might be rude to say, Twonky 7.0.9 with its Web based Controls is easy to use and always works .

MinimWatch uses a menu bar icon as its UI. If you look in the menu bar, you should see an icon with a minim symbol. This is explained in the "Installing MinimWatch" section of this web page.

RE: Issues with 0.61
why are you warming up this old thread thats not even adressing the latest version?

Did you read the install instructions?
Did you try a search on on "Qnap" on the forum posts?

i had minim server successfully installed with qnap 3.7.3
but with qnap 3.8xx it stopped working .

there is not much one can do wrong .
1. Java Install ( worked )
2. Minim Install ( failed )

See Pictures .
Any Suggestions welcome .

The failure message is saying you should look at the system logs. What information did you find there?

I will PM you a link to a test build for QNAP x86 that might solve the problem. You will also need an updated version of MinimWatch, so I'll include a link for that as well.
