I don't know, but I believed that BBCRADIO.M3U8 was the play list

Thanks again.

You need to set contentDir to the name of the folder, so contentDir should be C:\USER\RICHARD\DESKTOP\PLAY-BBC. Please try changing this and doing a Rescan from the minim icon.

Simon I have done the above, no success. The log of the server is nothing special. The miniwatch log is big, any thing i should look for?

I don't understand why you are running MinimWatch. Perhaps this is related to the problem. If you are running MinimServer on a Windows machine, there is no need to run MinimWatch as well as MinimServer.

Please zip both your "server log" and your "MinimWatch log" and attach both zipped log files to a post here. Please use file attachments, not inline copy and paste.

Thanks for this. It looks like the MinimWatch log was produced with the logging level set to Debug but the MinimServer log was produced with the logging level set to Info. Please do the following:

1) Set the MinimServer logging level to Debug
2) Do a MinimServer rescan
3) Save the MinimServer log, zip it and attach it here

This should help me see what needs to be changed in your setup.

Thanks for this. The log shows that you selected Restart from the minim icon, not Rescan. Please use the same 3 steps to produce another debug log with Rescan selected.

Thanks again. This shows that MinimServer scanned the folder play-bbc but didn't find any .m3u files in this folder. If you select the play-bbc folder in Windows Explorer, what do you see for the contents of the folder? It would be useful if you could post a screenshot of the folder contents.

The playlist file is named bbcradio.m3u8.txt. You need to rename it to bbcradio.m3u to enable MinimServer to find it in the folder.
