Upgrading to 0.8.3
Dear Simon,
I am having some trouble upgrading from version 0.8.2 to 0.8.3. I have followed the instructions up to and including updating the JRE package, but I have not succeeded in the manual installation of 0.8.3. My QNAP NAS has an Intel processor so I have downloaded the MinimServer-0.8.3-x86.qpkg file. I just clicked on the appropriate file in the MinimServer Downloads list. It goes into my MacBook Pro downloads directory. I have not managed to get it into the NAS. What am I doing wrong? Grateful for your help. Best regards, Gonzalez |

RE: Upgrading to 0.8.3
Hi Simon,
I did an upgrade to 0.8.3 on my QNAP (also updated later JRE to 8.6.0) but Minimserver is no longer showing as an DLNA device on my Denon and in foobar... What could be causing this ? Thanks |

I tried the above before posting and it was not showing directly. After about 15 minutes it became available although it showed running on the http port 9790 right after reboot but in the meantime I had made my post. Could there be a delay after an upgrade ? Most important is that now it's working fine. |

Does your router have a setting to enable multicast or disable IGMP snooping? |
