I haven't tried doing this with JRiver. I find Mp3tag much easier to use.

When I get my Windows machine (new build) up and running I'll try Mp3tag.

If you don't want to wait (or use a Mac laptop like I do), I've had good luck on a Mac using Metadatics for tagging issues with MinimServer error messages. So far, it resolves everything I've thrown at it.

John

Thanks.

Can you tell me if Mp3 Tag will fix the attached issues? You mentioned to me in this thread that it would fix those issues but I'm curious about these. All of my music is on a NAS so what's the "easy" way to do it? I do have a Windows machine if that's needed.

These errors aren't related to tagging. The messages are telling you that the "Radiohead - Live From the Basement.m3u" file contains some entries that point to nonexistent files. To fix this, you need to edit the .m3u file with a text editor and update the entries so that they point to valid files.

But I can play these files just fine so how are they nonexistent? I'm confused (as usual).

The files are presumably either in a different location or have different names than what it says in your .m3u file.

These dates seem to be yyyy-dd-mm. They should be yyyy-mm-dd.

What's the best way to fix these? There appears to be a decent amount. Further, where does it get a yyyy-dd-mm date from? I'm fine with just yyyy.

Sorry but I have no idea what this is and what to do there. I've googled but I've got nothing.

MinimServer gets this information from the tags in your files. To fix the problem, you need to use a tag editor to correct the tags in your files.
