I have tried the Kazoo App also and I have the same issue.

Which Upnp server would you advise? (Synology NAS)

The standard media server from Synology that is included in the package center.

I haven't tried the USB key but this is what I have done.

I have installed minimserver (Windows version) on my laptop and defined the same folder on my NAS as the library (network drive mapping) and it works! I can play the library that could not play when using the minimserver running on the NAS. That is weird...

This is an interesting news.
Then it seems that something is going wrong with the Minimserver installation on your nas.
I’m sure Simon will suggest necessary next steps to solve the issue
