RE: Lighting DS
Thanks for this log. It shows the player is trying to play this file:
Music Stream/Jazz At The Movies Band/A Man And A Woman_ Sax At The Movies 2496/04 - The Crying Game (LP Version).aiff The length of the file is 121401588 bytes. The player makes a number of attempts to read audio data from this file, as follows: 1) It tries to read the whole file (121401588 bytes) but closes the connection before all data has been read 2) It reads the portion of the file starting at byte 121382454 (19134 bytes) successfully 3) It reads the portion of the file starting at byte 54 (121401534 bytes) successfully It is unusual for a player to read a file three times. Also, the failure to complete the first read of the whole file suggests there has been a problem with the player. It could be significant that this file is an AIFF file (uncompressed audio) and the file that plays OK is a FLAC file (compressed audio). Your network might not be able to stream uncompressed audio fast enough to keep up with the player's buffering, or the player might might be running out of internal buffer space. You can use a MinimServer option setting to stream the data at a slower rate. In the serverOptions property, add this setting: flowControl=2x This slows down the rate at which MinimServer sends audio data and it might enable the player to play this file and other AIFF files correctly. |
