MinimServer 2.2 on Melco errors

Hi,

Ever since upgrading to MinimServer 2.2 on my Melco I've been getting sporadic errors.

MinimServer runs for a while and then crashes. I think when I search for music.

I've removed it and reinstalled Minim on the Melco but still get the same issue. The error message and the crash log files are attached.

Thanks for letting me know about this. I have checked the code to see what is happening when the error occurs. It appears to occur when a title search request returns an album disc with a DiscSubtitle tag that matches the search string.

I have made a change to the code that I hope will fix this problem. I will try to reproduce the problem so that I can verify it is fixed by the change I have made.

If the above information helps you to narrow down how to make the error occur, this would be very helpful for testing the fix.

I've switched it off for now as it was so annoying and I'm not sure I'll have time in the run up to Christmas for testing. I'll be sure to let you know if I do.

This problem should be fixed in the latest MinimServer update 267.

Hello Simon,

i have a search-Problem too. Everytime, when i search my Music Library (starting search from the folder- of album-view) the Minimserver crashs see attached log.

My melco is a N1

is corrupt and this is causing MinimServer to crash. MinimServer should report the corruption error without crashing.

Are you able to upload this file to my FTP site so that I can investigate the cause of the problem? If you can do this, I will send you the FTP login details.
