RE: No Play
You can try to flash RoPieee on a microSD and boot the rpi from there, then configure RoPieee to enable the UPNP service

I have tried to connect another renderer to the Hub that bypasses the RPi with an output via AES/EBU into the DAC, but LUMIN does not even see this on the network. |

RE: No Play
Are you running Bubbleupnpserver somewhere on your network?
Lumïn app needs UPNP/OpenHome and Bubbleupnpserver gives this compatibility to the renderer, it’s mandatory …. |

RE: No Play
I just checked the MinimServer instructions for an Intel Synology NAS running DSM 7, and nothing appears to have changed there, at least. The MinimSever package contains its own Java runtime.

RE: No Play
On the Bubbleupnpserver page you can read that it cannot be installed “directly” on DSM7 (it was possible on DSM6) but a docker installation is available

RE: No Play
I have also tried a USB connection between the NAS and DAC, but cannot get that to play either using Audio Station/DS audio. In those apps, some tracks are missing, but are present in File Station. The same files on my computer can be played via the DAC's USB input. Oh, well, at least I got the room alignment done today!

RE: No Play
Are you able to browse your MinimServer library using Upmpdcli? I am not sure whether it is just playing the files that doesn't work or whether browsing is also affected. If browsing is working but playing is not working, the problem is likely to be with your renderer.

RE: No Play
I can browse the full MininServer Library, but the play problem also appears with a USB connection between the NAS and DAC. Using DS audio, I can play via my phone's output. The same USB input connection works between the DAC and a computer using the same files stored on the computer. In browsing with Synology apps (Audio Station on the NAS and DS audio on my phone), some files are not loading, but are visible in File Station. I've tried another renderer that bypasses the RPi 4 board, but it was not visible in LUMIN or other control points to select.
