Is there perhaps some other device on your network that is communicating with MinimServer periodically and this network communication is preventing sleep?

How to check? Can I see it in log? As I mentioned before in commnd promt using "powercfg /request" I can't see process that is preventing my PC to go to sleep.

Thanks,
Vlad

Network communication wouldn't show up in a list of running processes.

The best way to check for this is to power off your two Yamaha receivers and see whether this enables the ThinkStation to sleep. If you are also running a control point app such as Yamaha MusicCast, the device running this app needs to be powered off as well.

Ok, will test during weekend and get back to You. Many thanks for your advices.

RE: MinimServer is preventing my Synology NAS from hibernating
Earlier in this thread, I claimed that JRiver Media Center's Media Server service had been responsible for preventing my NAS from hibernating (after my predefined 10 mins of inactivity). At that time, I thought that stopping this service was the only way to let my NAS get some rest, as 10 mins after using this Media Server the NAS had still not gone to sleep.

However, I have now realised that there is no problem in leaving this Media Server running all the time. My NAS does eventually go to sleep about 20 mins after I stop playing any media. I've no idea why it takes twice as long as normal, but at least it works.

Thr bottom line is that there has probably never been a problem with hibernation of my Synology NAS Smile
