DSD, Hi-Res FLAC Transcode on AMD CPU's?

[Ristrettoaudio]

Hello,

I want to buy my first "NAS" to transcode DSD, Flac files to "WAW" in my "Lumin A1" streamer.

I Must Buy "NAS" With "Intel" CPU? Or work good on "AMD"?

Synology DS1522+ ("AMD"), QNAP TS-464-8G ("Intel").

Either of these models will be fine for transcoding FLAC to WAV and DSD to WAV.

The LUMIN A1 supports DSD natively. You will get better sound quality if you stream DSD files to the LUMIN with no transcoding.

Support up DSD64 only
