I noticed that ohnet was updated from 1.32.4280 to 1.33.4785. I downloaded the re-compiled libraries from "https://kinetoskop.eu/ohnet/" and replaced the original ones in the folder "/root/usr/local/share/minimserver/libext", but the error still occurred. I then tried to rename the old "ohnet(linux-intel)-1.32.4280.zip" (formerly downloaded from "https://kinetoskop.eu/ohnet/") to "ohnet(linux-intel)-1.33.4785.zip" and placed it in "/root/usr/local/share/minimserver/libext". Everything works correctly. I then was also able to successfully apply update 220. Did anyone experience the same situation?

@alleasca, you did the right steps for successful upgrade of MinimServer to update 219. Please try again. 1) Shutdown MinimServer 2) Replace the zip-file in the libext folder 3) Start MinimServer

That should be it. Let us know how it works.

Perhaps the mistake you did was the same as I did it this time. I didn't shutdown properly MinimServer completely, but instead just copied over the newly compiled lib and then issued a "restart" via the MinimServer command-line. I also had the same error-message you gave above. This is not enough. You have to stop the process completely and start it again (service minimserver stop/start) to trigger the reload of the library.

Thank everyone for the prompt responses. I tried airflow's suggestion but no way, the problem still remains. In detail:
1) I stopped minmserver service "service minimserver stop"
2) I replaced the libraries with the ones downloaded from the usual site
3) I started minimserver service "service minimserver start"
4) The starting error occurs

I also tried, after stopping the service, to shutdown the jail, replace the libraries and start the jail again, but always the same error. I attached the crash log file for your convenience.

That's strange, as I cannot reproduce it. I just tried it again - I stopped MinimServer, I re-downloaded the file from the usual place and put it in the libext directory. I restarted the service and MinimServer launched without any errors and works.

I have two ideas: Your download was corrupted. Perhaps re-download the file. The MD5-hash should be c60e516db19885480041fe8fe0cdbc60. Or could it be a permission problem? Set the files permissions to the same as the other files in the same directory.

RE: [Tutorial] Installing MinimServer on FreeNAS or FreeBSD
I finally got everything working after a complete reinstall of Minimserver. Actually my former installation was very old (it started as a Minimserver 2.08 on Truenas 12) and probably all the different updates and upgrades left some unwanted residuals and something was not going right. I created a new jail (13.1-RELEASE-p5) and installed a brand new 2.1.2 Minimserver with the ohnet libraries found on "https://kinetoskop.eu/ohnet/", then I reinstalled the full license and reimported my profile. Everything is fine so far. Thank everyone very much for supporting me.

PSA: The new ohNet-library in version 1.37.5521 for the latest MinimServer version has been prepared and is available for download at the usual place.

Thank you @airflow for the post! The usual website didn't show anything a few days ago and I was a bit worried, since after the last update minimserver stopped working. Yesterday I downloaded the new recompiled library and everything is up again!

Great job!

Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad there are people out there that use this. :-)

When i noticed that my installation of MinimServer stopped working, I also noticed soon after that I accidentally deleted the directory with the libraries already some time ago during an upgrade of the website. With backups I could put everything back in place.

And thanks here as well @airflow - I'm still using it.
