minimwatch icon on ubuntu 22.04
I am in the process of moving all my stuff to a new PC with a fresh ubuntu 22.04 installation.
I did start by copying the 2 directories over, but got minimwatch problems with it stating that it was unable to show the icon (even though the ubuntu version is the same, and it works on my old PC). Eventually I uninstalled each and did completely new installations with the latest versions. minimserver runs. I'm not yet sure of the license status. A new installation of minimwatch runs, doesn't complain about being unable to show an icon, but doesn't show one anywhere. I have topiconsfix installed. Waat can I do to diagnose this further? |

RE: minimwatch icon on ubuntu 22.04
It can be tricky to get the correct version of the TopIcons extension installed. For Ubuntu 22.04, I believe you need to install TopIconsFix version 42. Is this the version you have installed?
Edit: When you say you have MinimServer running, is this with or without a taskbar icon? |

All is now well. Sorry to have taken up your time. |
