Unable to launch MinimServer on Synology DSM 7
Hello, I am trying to install MinimServer 2.2-7001 on a Synology DS423+ running DSM 7.2. I have 2 volumes on my system, volume1 which is the primary disk array and volume 2, which is the secondary SSD volume that all the apps are installed on. When I try to install the app to volume2 with all the other apps, it installs, tries to run, and then reports being manually stopped.
I checked the logs and it reports the following: Code: $ sudo cat minimserver.log and Code: $ sudo cat minimserver-out.log It does with the store version and with a manual installation with a package from the website (both are the same version). However, if I install the app on volume1 it works fine. It's not the end of the world but I'd prefer to have it on the more performant SSD volume, as well as just in the same place as the rest of the apps on the device. Is there any fix that would allow me to install it on that volume instead? p.s: Thank you for the wonderful app, of all the music tools I've used this is the only one that is both a pleasant experience to use and can handle files that don't fit into a clean artist/album/song structure. |

RE: Unable to launch MinimServer on Synology DSM 7
I am away from home, so I can't try this on my Synology NAS at present. As you have now created the /var/packages/MinimServer/etc directory, you could try deleting MinimServer from volume2 and installing it on volume1. If this doesn't work, I will need to try this myself when I get back home.

However, some other apps began to display permissions as well that they had not been before and I was unable to rectify them so I am backing up and reinstalling DSM. I will update here if it works on a fresh install (which I suspect it will). |
