The bug will occur with either a Restart or Rescan. To work around it until it is fixed, you need to completely exit MinimServer and relaunch it. This might explain why some of your tests did not produce the expected results.

Ah ok. Well in that case, yes, I think so too, but if I've understood correctly then the tests you got me to try later will have circumnavigated that issue, and so at least in the matter of uncompressed lossless playback of radio streams on the NP30, we're still at the end of the road, aren't we?

For anyone who gets this far, it wasn't the end of the road after all - a solution was later found on another thread that enables transcoding to uncompressed L16 PCM streams that can be played on the NP30. Here is a link to the relevant part of that thread:
