Tagging of Soloists
Hi,
I tag the soloists in my classical albums with various tags names (e.g. "Pianist", "Violinist", "Cellist"...) corresponding to their classification for easy browsing. To avoid showing a long list of tag names for soloists in the home container, I would like to show only "Soloists" tag in the home container which I am able to browse individual soloist with such browsing sequence: "Soloists" > "Pianist", "Violinist", "Cellist"... > pianist 1, pianist 2.. I tried to merge all the soloist's tag using Soloists.merge={Pianist, Violinist, Cellist,...} in tagvalue, but it turns out that the the resulted "Soloists" tag contains individual soloist's names (pianist 1, pianist 2, violinist 1,...) instead of soloist's tag ("Pianist", "Violinist", "Cellist"...). Could you please share with me how I can achieve this? Many thanks!! |

If that's what you're after then I'm afraid that's not possible in MinimServer. |

RE: Tagging of Soloists
Hi Simbun,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry I believe I didn't express it clearly. What I would like to browse is like this: 1. Soloists tag will be shown in the Minimserver's home container; 2. When I select the Soloists tag, it will display a list of tag choices like Pianist, Violinist, Cellist...; 3. If I select a tag choice such as Pianist, then it will show all available artists that are tagged as Pianist. Could you please share with me how I can achieve this! Thousand thanks, schipa |

I know you were trying to avoid listing them all in the home container but that's the only option. |
