"recently added" shows the wrong entries

Hi,

I'm running the docker version of minimserver.

"recently added" has so far always correctly displayed the most recently added content.
Recently, however, only a few contents that have been in the collection for years are displayed here under "last day" or "2022".
However, the newly added content is no longer displayed.

How can this be repaired?

This sounds like it might be the problem reported in this thread. Have the old files that appear incorrectly with recent dates been modified (retagged) recently?

I had re-tagged the entire collection a few months ago.
Since then, however, some new content had been added or changed in the meantime.

Of the content that was changed months ago, only a fraction is displayed.
While from the in the meantime changed or newly added content absolutely nothing is displayed.

It is also interesting that the same content that was shown to me yesterday and the day before yesterday under "recently added" -> "last day" is shown again today under "last day". So it's always the same content that is permanently displayed under "last day".

Please post your added-files.txt and added-dates.txt files as file attachments to a post here. These files are in the MinimServer "recent" folder. Don't copy the contents of these files inline.

Also, please post what you are currently seeing under "last day". Many thanks.

I've attached both files.

Under "last day" i'm seeing exactly the entries shown in the txt-files.

But the entries shown here have neither changed nor been added.

The contents that were actually added recently do not show up in the txt files nor in the actual view.

Thanks for these files. They show that this is the same problem as the problem discussed in this post. Please try following the advice in the post to restore as much as possible of your "recently added" information. When a fix for this problem is available, I will post an update here.

There is a fix for this problem in MinimServer update 219, just released. I have set up an environment that enables me to test out-of-order folder scanning and the fix seems to be working OK.

At present, update 219 is not installed automatically. It can be installed manually from the About dialog (Show updates) or from the Packages tab of the Properties dialog.

Does the update also affect content added in the past, or only new content added after the update was applied?

I have installed the update and performed a rescan. However, the same - wrong - content is still listed under "recently added".

It is unfortunately not possible for me to delete the added-dates.txt, because I have no access to the file when I stop minimserver (and thus the Docker container).

I also don't want to recreate the entire container if possible, otherwise I would lose my customizations.

You need to delete the incorrect contents of the added-dates.txt file. It is fine to delete this file while MinimServer is running. Is there some reason why you cannot do this?

Thank you. Now it is much better.

I was under the assumption that the mimimserver must be stopped so that the file can be safely removed.

The wrong entries are now gone, and newly added content is displayed.
However, the list of newly added content is unfortunately not complete.
