'Recently Added' Folder

I have recently updated 2.1 and have updated my properties to include 'Recently Added'.

The folder shows in my main index, but when I open it there are only 9 'partial' albums.

As I have been constantly adding to my collection over the past few months is this correct or should there be other folders within the main 'Recently Added' folder?

The number of recently added files (audio files and playlists) saved by MinimServer is set to 300 by default. You can change this value by setting the recentAdded option of the serverOptions property. The maximum value is 1000.

9 partial albums seems a little low even for the default setting of 300, but I don’t know how many tracks per album.

Could this 300 limit be your issue?

Thanks for your help. The 9 albums only contained approx 100 tracks??

I have changed the value to 1000 and that has increased the number but not to what I expected. I presumed the limit was the number of albums not tracks??

Also, still only getting albums and can't see any of the other folders like last week, last month etc or any recently added within genre etc?

Do you get sub folders etc within the recent added folder etc?

Do you have listViewAlbums set to a large number? If so, you will see only a list of albums in Recently Added. To see the normal contents of Recently Added, remove the listViewAlbums setting.

The number of albums and tracks in Recently Added should be the same with listViewAlbums enabled or disabled. If there is a difference, please post details here.

Thanks as always Simon, listViewAlbums was set to a large number (9999). Deleted and all working as it should now, and I have counted the tracks which is spot on as it should be.
