No need to apologise. Like other index tags, Recently Added and Recently Played aren't shown if selecting them would produce no results.

Thx Simon for the recently Added; a request by many people :-)

I have a little comment if I may: you chose to propose a logarithmic approach to "recently added" (last day, last week, last month, last 3 months, etc.)

I am personnaly more pleased with a linear approach, like the one you have in the Lumin app: grouping by YYYY-MM

Just an opinion, I may be the only one.

On your Mac M1, which version of Java do you have installed? See this section for details of how to install the correct version.

I assume it's the same for the Synology update, where it won't be available in the Package Center for a while? I've noticed with other apps that Synology is not very quick to add the updates after the developer submits them.

Thanks for this feedback. This feature is intended to show recently added and played files, not a complete historical list like the LUMIN app.

For a new release, I prefer to wait a few days to see if there are any major issues reported by users before I submit it to Synology. After that, it takes several weeks (sometimes months) for Synology to do their testing. If they find any issues (sometimes very trivial ones), this can add a few more weeks for retesting.

How do I update to 2.1?
If I look into the package center MinimServer shows "newest version online 2.0.18-2003"

You don’t have to uninstall the old version.
Yes the license will be preserved assuming you are running MinimServer 2
