Web interface (suggestion)
Hi... long term user of MinimServer... have tried the rest and returned to the best.
Anyway: on the web interface page, (I know it’s designed just for basic functionality) would it be possible to have some indication of when the library was last scanned? Just for confirmation that new music you added should be in the library. Thanks Eloïse |

RE: Web interface (suggestion)
Thank you for this excellent suggestion. I will add it to my to-do list and it should be available soon.
My goal is for the web interface to become the primary means of configuring and interacting with MinimServer, incorporating the functionality currently provided by MinimWatch with a more user-friendly interface. |

+1
also on the front page, instead of all those infos (copyright, version, license, etc.) which are not that interesting for a user, here is what I would like to see, in a very clear way, not full of infos with small fonts as it is now - The name of the profile in use (it is too much hidden somewhere) - The name of the library in use - The number of Albums, Tracks, etc... - The last scan date Just suggestions... |

RE: Web interface (suggestion)
- The name of the profile in use ... Profile, View ... two clicks
- The name of the library in use ... in the middle of the very first page - The number of Albums, Tracks ... the very first information on any control point .... The MinimServer web information page is something to set once and forget .... let Simon work on important new functionality like web version of MinimWatch and other new features, please! |

RE: Web interface (suggestion)
In MinimServer update 173, the last scan date and time is displayed on the main configuration page.

Profile, View ... two clicks Being professionally on the same side as Simon, I love when my customers are asking me new features. Codesign is, in 2020, an essentiel key of good products. Therefore, as a customer of Simon, I apply the same logic. Now the only one who has control on the product roadmap is Simon himself. Either you are working with Simon, and in that case I can say it is never a good practice to ask a customer to shut up, or you are not, and your post is, to my eyes, quite irrelevent, and even somehow a little rude, as it is not up to you to tell me how to use minimwatch. End of comment, please :-) |
