Why is the Composer name seen in the Folder view but not on the Tag view in Kinsky?

Do you have Composer tags in your files? Have you added Composer to indexTags?

If these suggestions don't fix the problem, please attach a screenshot showing the Tag view with the missing composer name.

This is a problem with Kinsky. If you right-click on one of these tracks and select 'Details', you should see the Composer information there.

With Kinsky Windows 4.3.14, I am seeing Composer information under the track titles if all the track artists are the same. If you're not already on 4.3.14, try updating to this to see if it solves the problem.

If this doesn't work for you on 4.3.14, check the MinimServer tagCustom property to make sure you have

Composer.displayRole={artist}

in this field.

Updating to 4.3.14 did not solve the problem
Why does the 'Composer.displayRole={artist}' value duplicate itself each time I refresh MinimServer? (see image)

This duplication is a known bug. It will be fixed in the upcoming 0.72 release.

The Kinsky composer display problem might be related to AlbumArtist tagging. For the album that does not show composer information, do you have AlbumArtist tags on the tracks of this album? Also, do you get any warning messages in the log for the tracks of this album?

The Kinsky composer display problem might be related to AlbumArtist tagging. For the album that does not show composer information, do you have AlbumArtist tags on the tracks of this album? Yes and for every album as this occurs with every album.

Also, do you get any warning messages in the log for the tracks of this album? Every album appears to be in the log. (see image)

From this log, it looks like you have AlbumArtist tags on all your albums.

The albums I have that show composer information in Kinsky don't have an AlbumArtist tag. Please try removing this tag on one alnum to see if it fixes the problem.

If this is the cause of the problem, you will need to contact Linn to find out why Kinsky is doing this.
