RE: MinimServer 0.71 is now available
This is the last line of minimserver.log with 0.63.5

MinimServer[DS412] is running

there are no Httperrors!! so nothing to write to the log file.
maybe that's the thing why my DS won't hibernate..

Ad.

( and hibernating immediately!)

Have you set the MinimServer logging level to Debug? This would explain why you are getting these ohNet messages in the log file. You can check the logging level by using 'Show log' from the minim icon. If it is set to Debug, change this to Info. This should fix the hibernation problem.

In 0.63.5, ohNet messages were not written to the MinimServer log file.

Ok, that could be the problem.

How can I change the setting for the logging? Big Grin
Only at 'Show log'?
I installed 0.71 as is and never changed anything, is it default?. Wink

Thanks for the tip. Tonght I will try this.

I'm glad to hear the problem is solved.

The logging level is set to Info when you install MinimServer for the first time. When you upgrade MinimServer on the Synology, your previous configuration (including the logging level) is automatically preserved. Perhaps you changed this to Debug some time ago when using MinimServer 0.63. This wouldn't have stopped hibernation with 0.63, but it does stop hibernation with 0.71.

The settings Info and Verbose are intended for normal use. The settings Debug and Trace are for debugging purposes only, and shouldn't be left on permanently.

I think it happened as you discribed...

I'm glad too! Everything working fine now...

Ape is pretty much a niche format supported by hardly anyone except JRiver (who invented the format if I remember correctly). Any reason why you dont convert to FLAC?

I've got a lot of things on my "to do" list, and I don't think APE support is likely to happen in the foreseeable future.

Also, it looks like the APE audio format isn't an open format with a published specification. I was able to find a specification for APE tags, but I couldn't find a specification for the APE audio format.
