You should install Java first and verify that it is installed correctly before attempting to install MinimWatch. The simplest way to do this is by downloading the Windows Online version of Java from this page.

I do and that’s when I get the first error message, continuous loop, I just tried no to see what would happen.

Hi Simon, downloaded this as instructed removed the other version of java and the failed minimwatch, verified it and oracle say its good.

then installed minimwatch again but back to this again

I found a post saying that this might be caused by a problem with the Java online installer. Please try repeating the Java installation using the offline installer.

Edit: Before doing this, remove the current faulty Java installation using Uninstall from Control Panel.

Simon, I am beat, I uninstalled via your instructions, I even downloaded Firefox and downloadedminimwatch from your site and woud you believe it back to this

Do you have an antivirus program running on the machine? These can sometimes cause strange errors.
