Could you please take another screenshot of the Advanced tab showing the whole of the Comment.displayFormat entry, or include a copy/paste of the value. |

These property settings look OK to me. To see the booklet information, you need a booklet.pdf file in the same folder as the album files and you need to do a Rescan. Then you need to touch the "three dots" icon in BubbleDS and select "Show metadata". The "Desc" field in the metadata popup should contain the booklet link.

I have now changed the name of the file simply to booklet.pdf and removed all other versions and it is now working so my apologies for wasting your time and again many thanks. With more than one pdf in the directory it didn't work irrespective of name which might have caused my problem. Having proved that my setup is OK (I never doubted yours) I have tried again using the album title name for the pdf file. By this I mean the directory name which holds the album which is the same as the name in the Album tag. This is now working so I must have messed up before. It was only after reading this thread I tried selecting the metadata. Before I had been selecting "Booklet" which seems to look for the booklet locally. I do not know how the expression in tagFormat works. Is the string "Digital booklet" a place holder? It seems it is the .pdf that is significant. This leaves me with only one question. When the work requires two CDs I always rip them to one directory and number the files accordingly. Unfortunately in one case the booklet files are given by CD so I would need to put two pdf files in one directory which I have proven does not work. Is it possible to make it work? |

RE: Booklets
The information about "Show metadata" and "Desc" isn't currently mentioned in the MinimServer user guide and I will add this to help other users. The displayFormat string adds an HTML link to the Desc information and this HTML link enables BubbleDS to display a booklet that is stored on the server.
For multiple discs in the same folder, you need to give each disc a name by using the DISCSUBTITLE tag and use this disc name for the .pdf file corresponding to the disc. See the last part of this section. |

Hi Simon, Just to be clear I have the one folder with the "Album title" and the Album tags for all files from both CDs with that same album title. Using Picard I have added a DISCSUBTITLE tag and used the same title but with _CD1 and _CD2 appended. I have used this amended title for the respective pdf files. It is not working yet and I will need to check but the two subtitles I have used for the DISCSUBTITLE tags and the pdf files are:- Quote:Monteverdi - Settimo_Libro_dei_Madrigali_(1619, Concerto)_(Claudio Cavina, La_Venexiana_CD1) and:- Quote:Monteverdi - Settimo_Libro_dei_Madrigali_(1619, Concerto)_(Claudio Cavina, La_Venexiana_CD2) Could it be that the brackets are frustrating my objective? |

RE: Booklets
The parentheses wouldn't cause any problems. Did you do a Rescan after making these changes?
