RE: error: java.lang.NoSuchMethodException
(20-12-2016 10:33)FransZappa Wrote: Tried your suggested workaround, restarted Qnap NAS HS251. Minimserver icon is on the homepage and the JAVA warnings have not appeared. Minimwatch icon however is yellow, should be green, tried restarting Minimserver: no change. The yellow icon means that MinimServer is rescanning your library after startup. Restarting will abort the rescan and start a new rescan from the beginning (not a good idea). Quote:This is what the log says: This is the MinimWatch log, not the MinimServer log. MinimWatch is on update 44 and MinimServer is (hopefully) on update 94. To confirm this, you can select 'About' or 'Show log' from the MinimWatch minim icon. Quote:Well... as I am explaining the current state of things Minimwatch has some good news and turned green: YES. This means the rescan has completed. Quote:Kazoo seems to be up and running and found the main room and working properly. I'm glad it is working now. Updates are normally a lot smoother and I apologise for the inconvenience. I did test on my QNAP TS-119 but the problem wasn't showing up on that model. |

If you are running 4.3, you need to install MinimServer-0.8.4.2-x64.qpkg. If you are running 4.2.2, you need to install MinimServer-0.8.4.2-x86.qpkg. If you have installed the x64 version on 4.2.2, it will not work. |

RE: error: java.lang.NoSuchMethodException
(20-12-2016 09:51)simoncn Wrote: Update 94 is an online update and is not installed via the App Center. It is installed automatically when MinimServer starts. It is possible that the java.lang.NoSuchMethodException error is causing MinimServer to stop before the update can be installed. Thanks Simon, it seems it worked without the catch 22 and the need to install 8.4.2 BY |
