Minimwatch stays grey after cable modem change
System:
Windows 10 - 64bit PC with latest Java install (also 64bit) Firewall completely off. Latest minimwatch installed on PC Minimserver on Synology 1513+ Everything wired via ethernet. All was working fine. Until I switched the outside connection to a new cable modem, which changed all the IP addresses to the IP range of 192.168.178.x I have rebooted everything, including the NAS and turned off the firewall. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Minimwatch. I have updated Java on the laptop. I don't know what else to try. Log file attachment here failed (not allowed?) |

RE: Minimwatch stays grey after cable modem change
Can you access the Synology from your pc browser? If not, it may be that your Synology is still locked on the old IP address.

I can find the Synology and access its files from my laptop (also wireless, like the IPad running LUMIN which no longer works because there the minimserver shows 'offline'. On the Synology, minimserver shows as running. |

It sounds like your new router might not be handling UPnP multicast discovery correctly. If the router has a setting to disable IGMP snooping, try doing this. |

RE: Minimwatch stays grey after cable modem change
This log shows that MinimWatch is running normally and is listening on the correct subnet of 192.168.178.x. It looks very likely that the router is blocking multicast discovery messages.
