Shortcut to Radio list?
Does anyone know, is there a way to create a shortcut to a radio url playlist used by Minimstreamer?
Currently I have to navigate through folder view>BBCRadio>tag view>BBC Radio>1 playlist>BBC Radio and then I can see the playlist and select. I know I can create favourites but its different on each control point I use (Kazoo, Kinsky, LMS and direct navigation on Revo and Roberts radios). Is there anyway that Minimserver can present the folder structure in a more user friendly way? Streaming from a Synology 1511+ to a Cyrus Stream XP2 QX, 2x Roberts 93i, A Revo Superconnect, a Mede8er 600 3D and a few Squeezeboxes thrown in! |

RE: Shortcut to Radio list?
Thie simplest way is to use 1 playlist>BBC Radio. Another option is [folder view]>BBCRadio>BBC Radio.

Hi Simon
Thanks for that, but I'm not sure exactly what you mean?

RE: Shortcut to Radio list?
The "1 playlist" doesn't appear in the top level on any of the control points the I use. I can find a playlist called "BBC Radio" in the playlist folder and can select from there which is a bit shorter a path than I have been using..

I'm surprised that you don't see '1 playlist' at the top level. Do you see 'n albums' and 'n items' at the the top level? Which control points are you using? |

I do see the albums and items entry, but not "1 playlist" I've attached a screen shot from Kazoo, although the top level is the same in Kinsky, Asset Control and anything else I've tried.. There is a playlist called "BBC Radio" amongst the 153 playlists I have. Is this what you were referring to? RE: Shortcut to Radio list?
Thanks for the clarification. I didn't realise that you had other playlists as well. You could rename the BBC Radio playlist so that it sorts at the top of your list of 153 playlists (for example: +BBC Radio or ^BBC Radio).

Can I confirm that Minimserver uses m3u or m3u8 files as playlists? I have a couple of pls files which seem to be ignored.
