OK, if this has already been asked on this forum, just delete (I searched and did not find)

Question is : what is the size of your minimserver database ?

Mine is 3187 albums, 53620 tracks

Subsidiary question : I have around 100 symbolic links. I have made a little test, and it looks like the same album is counted twice (or more) when there are symbolic links. Have you experienced this also ?

Other subsidiary question : my Lumin app on my iPad mini starts becoming slow. What I see is that everytime I switch to another library (I have installed minimServer at so many friends' home) it uploads the images, but keep them in the cache, so the cache becomes increasingly bigger. So I just delete the app, reload again, and it is fine. But it becomes more frequent.

Has somenone exprerienced the same thing ?

All the best

This is by design. Each symbolic link is treated as a different directory.

I understand. For me, it is not a different content, it is the same content which is accessible through a different path.

Thx

If the symbolic links are at a high level in the directory tree, you might be able to work around this by using multiple content directories that are below the level of the symbolic links that are causing the problem.
