MinimWatch and OSX El Capitan

I am having problems with the latest MinimWatch on the El Capital Preview.

Initially MinimWatch would sit in the menu bar but would be greyed out.

I then installed the latest version from the web site and I am now getting the message that the application can't be opened.

Please see the detailed instructions in this section. Is the message the same as described in the Note to step 3?

Hi Simon,

I am familiair with how to open apps from unidentified developers in OSX. The message is different:'The application "MinimWatch" can't be opened.'

Have you tried rebooting the Mac? I have seen this occasionally and it was fixed by a reboot.

That may indeed have happened the first time when I had an older version of MinimWatch installed! Although I am quite sure that I rebooted yesterday for another reason with the latest version of MinimWatch installed. MinimWatch normally launches automatically on boot, so it should have launched correctly.

Since I moved from Windows to Mac years ago, I am not used to having to reboot any more. It will probably get sorted out by the time of the public release...
