BBC radio streams not working

Here are the steps to get this working on Naim:

1) Make sure you are running MinimServer 0.8.3 and MinimStreamer 0.5.2

2) Add the playlist to your library and make sure the URLs are correct. Here is a small sample playlist for testing purposes (note the 'aac' specification in the stream type):

5) From the minim icon, select Rescan

6) In the Naim app, clear the UPnP cache

7) In the Naim app, browse to the playlist entry and play the radio stream

Many thanks Simon for your explanation, I have tried all these steps as specified and unfortunately it does nothing when I click on the playlist.

On a different forum at least one person found his router was blocking the feed. I think he made sure that initial part of the URL was in his 'allowed' list.

Are you located in the UK? These streams are geographically restricted.

Yes I am in the UK

I am led to believe that changing a URL to non-uk is easy. Just change /uk/sbr_high to /nonuk/sbr_low

It's nonuk, not non-uk.

I'm lost now, are these streams not meant to be used in the uk?

Please create a debug log by doing the following:

1) Open the playlist in the Naim app
2) From the minim icon, select 'Show log'
3) In the log window, change the logging level to Debug
4) Leave the log window open
5) Try to play the radio stream (once only)
6) In the log window, click 'Save as' to save a log file
7) In the log window, change the logging level back to Info
8) Zip the log file and attach it to a post here

I will take a look at the log file to see if it provides any clues.

The sample playlist that I posted is the correct one for you to be using. You can ignore the discussion about non-UK streams.
