Problem with Naim NDX
Hello,

For more then two years I am a very satisfied Minim user Smile. In those two years with my Linn it never failed or stopped playing. For two days now I changed it for a Naim NDX, which stops playing from time to time during almost every album. What can be wrong, I assume it is a problem with the Naim, but I haven’t got a clue.

What device are you using to run MinimServer? How is this device connected to your network?

Does it stop playing at the end of a track or in the middle of a track?

RE: Problem with Naim NDX
Hi Simon,

MinimServer runs on a Qnap 569/L. It stops random.

This sounds like it might be a network issue. How are the QNAP and Naim connected to your network router or switch? Please provide as much detail as possible.

Sorry, forgot something, it is hard-wired.

Connection between QNAP and Naim by the use of a switch.

It can sometimes cause problems if there is a VPN server enabled on the device running MinimServer. Please check this under Control Panel > Applications > VPN Service.

RE: Problem with Naim NDX
I'm running QNAP with Naim NDX — no one delay or interrupt detected. Seems to be connection/packet problem.

Thanks for confirming that the NDX is able to work correctly with MinimServer on QNAP.

Edit: My apologies for not noticing that this post was from a different user. I have made suitable modifications to my reply.
