If the download link desn't work, this is a web browser issue. Some older versions of Safari produce a "Download error 3" message and other older browsers might fail in other ways. Can you try a different web browser?

Is there a reason why you are still on update 218? Update 222 should be installed automatically unless you have disabled automatic updates.

I have Minimserver 2.2 (update 230) installed on Synology 220+. When I look in the Package Centre on the NAS it still shows that Minimserver 2.1.2 is installed. See attachments

As stated in this post, the different version number in the Synology Package Center is mentioned in the last paragraph of the Update install section on this page. There is nothing I can do to change this.

If you would prefer to see version 2.2 in both places, you can download the .spk file from the MinimServer Downloads page and do a manual install in Package Center, as with previous MinimServer releases.

I have MinimServer installed on Qnap. So far, I've done all updates through MinimWatch. Does version 2.2 MS allow updates via the web interface? I don't see any information about available updates and there were already two updates: 230 and 231. How to update MS via web interface?

It is not possible at present to do updates via the web interface.

Updates 230 and 231 are automatic, so no interface is needed to apply them. Just restart MinimServer. This should apply for most updates from now on.

Hello Simon,

It looks that the new version 2.2 for Synology cannot be downloaded from your downloadpage. I tried this with different browsers but none of them work. The downloads for other platforms are no problem.

Thanks for letting me know about this. The incorrect links are fixed now but you will need to force a browser refresh of the Downloads page to see this change. You might also need to clear your browser cache for minimserver.com and minimworld.com.

Installation of MinimServer 2.2 was easy and without problems (Windows 10 and Synology DSM) - gratulations!
Yes, the package center on DSM still shows version 2.1.2-2102 - but this is unimportant for me.

But honestly I missed a solution for the HEOS genres bug.
I hope to see the Christmas genre after next update before Easter.
