I'm not messing with a good thing. I see no advantage to DSM 5.0 if all I am doing is playing music and not using the Synology audio package.

I am on DSM 5.0 and it is working well for me.

If you have an x86 NAS, there is an advantage in moving up to DSM 5.0 because this supports Java 7.
