The dBpoweramp batch converter will deal with a whole folder, including all sub-folders, in one operation. You should be able to convert many hundreds, if not thousands, of files in one evening.

Sorry, but dbpoweramp can not read the WAV tags, or I have not found the solution?
Incidentally Asset UPNP can not do that as well.
