Some months ago, there was a faulty update to Java from Apple that caused this "blue icon" problem. The faulty update was replaced shortly afterwards, so it's unlikely to be the cause of this problem. See this post for details of how to check whether you have the faulty update installed. Please also try rebooting the laptop. Does the problem still occur after a reboot? |
