Hi, I don't own a Sonos device nor do I have ever used the Sonos controller.
However, it may be that the Sonos controller requires the server to support UPnP search to be visible. As far as I know, minidlna, PS3MediaServer and MinimServer do not (yet) support UPnP search, but WMP and AssetUPnP do (I'm not sure about foo_upnp).
