Did you ever try using Information files? I mentioned it in a previous response to one of your earlier queries on the subject.

I'm not on iOS so I don't know if Jplay supports it, but there are a couple of Android apps (BubbleUPnP and Hi-Fi Cast) that do and even a desktop app (Upplay), so I'd be surprised if it doesn't.
