it is written updates until 4th Aprile 2022; and it is a 2.1 update 215
therefore it seems I cannot let install 2.1.2 as the nas is pushing me to; otherwise my license may be canceled and I couldn't reinstall the one that matches the license.

As it is a full license, one should be able to reinstall it with the original files and register it , on any supported device. If I change my Qnap Nas for a synology or --even better-- a dedicated Linux device, I am stuck without the files.

you right, I should have downloaded all the install files in time.
