It doesn't make any difference whether you specify the single top-level directory or specify each subdirectory separately. In both cases, you have the following choices:
1) All music in all subdirectories is combined together for indexing. This is the default. 2) You can select any subdirectory using [folder view] --> subdirectory name and then select >> Tag View --> subdirectory name to see an index for only those files that are under the selected subdirectory. |
