DSD256 transcoding
In the last days I helped a friend of mine to move from usb to lan connected dac. The dac can play up dsd256 through usb but just dsd64 through lan connection. It is a Gold Note DS10 dac/streamer.
I tried to set transcoding options in system options (stream.transcode) as: dsd(128):wav24;176, dsd(256):wav24;176 but I get an error ... it seems dsd(256) is not supported We ended up transcoding all dsf to wav (dsd:wav24;176) and it works but should be fine to be more “selective” Thank you |
