RE: Works inside album
(05-03-2018 16:34)simoncn Wrote: It is a problem if a user-visible field in the tagging program (Grouping in this case) maps to different tags in the server depending on the format of the file. The user can usually work around this using aliasTags but might not realise why different types of files aren't being treated in the same way.ContentGroup is usually displayed as Grouping to the end user. In your tag mapping page you are using the Flac/Vorbis Comment name as the logical name, but in this case I would say the logical name is in fact Grouping. This is more update to date tag mapping file https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing showing the mapping used by Songkong/Jaikoz and MusicBrainz Picard. Because Jaikoz was originally very much a MusicBrainz tagger we have always tried hard to maintain compatability with Musicbrainz Picard. You'll see that Picard also uses GROUPING for Flac/Vorbis rather than CONTENTGROUP, and that is why SongKong/Jaikoz use it. I dont know the prevalence of GROUPING versus CONTENTGROUP out in the wild. |
