Gapless playback from .m3u file?
Held our annual Christmas party yesterday afternoon / evening. Plenty of booze, carols round the piano, then a bit of a boogie. Sore head this morning, but, I believe, a good time was had by all.
Dancing was encouraged via a pre-prepared .m3u playlist file served by Minimserver to a Linn DS. The only issue was the multi-second gap between each track which did somewhat sap the dance floor momentum. So my question is this: Does anyone know a way to avoid these gaps? I know my system can play consecutive tracks from the same album gaplessly, for example, from a live album. But is there any way to achieve this with tracks from an .m3u playlist? Merry Christmas.
