There was a problem in earlier versions of MinimWatch that could cause the installer to think it is running when it isn't. This problem is fixed in the latest 0.8.4.7 download available from this page.

Edit: The above link no longer works because 0.8.4.7 is no longer available. See the Downloads page for the current version.
