Transcoding and OPPO BDP-105 Playback

I have a BDP-105 and Synology NAS. I didn't need to configure the transcoding options to get full resolution FLAC streaming. The simple way to see this is try playing something and if you use a receiver that displays the audio resolution, you can see if everything is properly configured. Also check the audio output settings of the Oppo.

In the Media Control App, you should see a source listed for Minimserver. This will be whatever name you've chosen for your music collection. Use this source to get the browsing and other features provided by Minimserver.

If you need to change it, you can use Minimwatch to change the properties.
The stream.transcode property in my case (probably the default) is set to *:L16 which I understand just instructs conversion of streams of an unspecified type to 16 bit LPCM (for which you also need a convertor).
