I feel silly asking, but, does minimserver do automatic rescans?

To set up an automatic daily rescan in Synology DSM, do the following:

1) Select Control Panel > Task Scheduler
2) Create a new scheduled task of type 'User-defined script'
3) In the General tab, change the user from root to admin
4) In the Schedule tab, enter the time that you want the task to run each day
5) In the Task Settings tab, under 'Run command', copy and paste the following into the box:
echo rescan | /var/packages/MinimServer/target/bin/mscript
6) Click OK
