Playback and decoding of the music file received from MinimServer over the network happens entirely in the Sonore device as the network audio file player (aka UPnP renderer). So it's the Sonore device that's making the sound, not MinimServer! Note this is different to the Roon system, where the Roon server actually decodes & plays the music file, with the resulting actual realtime digital audio signal being sent over the network to the Sonore as the Roon Endpoint. |
