Ok, consistency in all views would indeed be a showstopper for changing that.

Thanks for the help and information. I will differentiate with these albums in three ways: some without AlbumArtist, some with AlbumArtist "Various Artists" and some with AlbumArtist the same as the Lead Artist. Only problematic for duets, but that's ok.
