installing MinimServer on Buffalo Tech NAS?

I'm considering buying an Aurelic Aries (currently I'm using Sonos) to play hi-res files. I currently have my music library, managed through iTunes in Apple Lossless format, on a Buffalo Technology LS-XHL NAS drive. Aurelic recommends Minimserver as working well with Aries.

My question: can I install Minimserver on the Buffalo Tech? If not, can I install it on other models (I also have an LS-WTGL/R1-V3 and a LS-VL)?

From reviewing the "Installing" page, it doesn't look like I can, however I wanted to check before I'm go out an buy a new NAS.
