I've just reinstalled MinimServer. I thought I would use it for PCM files. Having waited ages for my files to be imported (I get lots of messages about tagging errors) I rebooted and started MinimServer and the whole import process starts again. Is this because I have to correct the tagging errors as previously explained? I have literally thousands of albums and that process would take ages! Is there a way around it?

If your files are on network-attached drives rather than internal or USB-attached drives, the initial scan takes a very long time and subsequent rescans will also be slow.

Messages about tagging problems are usually warnings rather than errors. (The message will say which it is.) A warning doesn't exclude the file from being available in your MinimServer library. You need to let the initial scan complete and then check to see which files are visible in your MinimServer library.
