This error isn't related to metadata. It means the converter you used is buggy and has written the WAV file in an incorrect format. I have found dBpoweramp to be a very quick and reliable file converter.

I will look into wav metadata thanks.

The current situation isn't perfect but it is a widely used and well supported industry standard. I don't think it would make sense for me to try to invent an alternative nonstandard metadata system.
