I did an uninstall and reinstall of Java plus the file that has to be downloaded and installed and it seems to work now.

Thans for posting this. It will be useful if other users have a similar problem. I haven't seen this myself and I'm not sure how Java could become corrupted. Did you install a DSM update recently?

No, the last DSM was a while ago. This was just totally out of the blue. I uploaded 4 new Cd's (XLD) and did a rescan. However, after the rescan DS Lightning (AURALiC) didn't show the new albums but I could see them in the 1813+ Music Folder where I mapped XLD to put them. I could also see them on my DX513 local backup so I knew they were there. The first thing I did was restart the Synology 1813+ since restarting is the universal computer fix. Smile After that didn't work I tried to open Minimserver from the DSM control panel. It wouldn't work. I then went to installed packages and saw that Minimserver was stopped and I couldn't restart it due to corrupt Java Install. I uninstalled Java and did a reinstall including that file that you download and manual install and it now works fine.
